Peterborough (Listeni/ˈptərˌbrəˌ -ˌbʌ-/) is a cathedral ceety in Cambridgeshire, Ingland, wi a population o 183,631 in 2011.[5] Historically pairt o Northamptonshire, it is 75 miles (121 km) north o Lunnon, on the River Nene which flaes intae the North Sea 30 miles (48 km) tae the north-east. The railwey station is a important stop on the East Coast Main Line atween Lunnon an Edinburgh.
