Nor Lípez is a province in the Bolivie depairtment o Potosí. Its seat is Colcha "K", cried Villa Martín. The feck o the province's area wis titlt as the Nor Lípez Native Commonty Land on 19 Aprile 2011. Ane o Bolivie's mucklest mines, the San Cristóbal Mine, is locatit near San Cristóbal in Colcha "K" municipality.

The province is ane o saxteen provinces in the Potosí Depairtment. It is locatit atween 20° 27' an 22° 01' Sooth an atween 66° 18' an 68° 35' Wast.

It is mairched bi the Daniel Campos Province tae the north, the Republic o Chile tae the wast, the Enrique Baldivieso Province an Sur Lípez Province tae the sooth, Sud Chichas Province tae the east, an the Antonio Quijarro Province tae the northeast.

The province extends ower 270 km frae east tae wast an 210 km frae north tae sooth.

The population increased frae 8,320 (1992 census) tae 10,460 inhabitants (2001 census), an increase o 25,7 %.

96 % o the population huvnae got access tae electricity, 93 % huvnae got sanitary facilities. 61 % o the population are employed in agricultur, 9 % in minin, 2 % in industry, 28 % in general services. 90 % o the population are Catholics, 6 % are Protestants.

The fowk are maistly indigenous citizens o Quechuan descent. [2]
