Nor Lípez is a province in the Bolivie depairtment o Potosí. Its seat is Colcha "K", cried Villa Martín. The majority o the province's aurie wis titled as the Nor Lípez Native Commonty Land on 19 Aprile 2011. Ane o Bolivie's lairgest mines, the San Cristóbal Mine, is locatit near San Cristóbal in Colcha "K" municipality.

The province is ane o saxteen provinces in the Potosí Depairtment. It is locatit atween 20° 27' an 22° 01' Sooth an atween 66° 18' an 68° 35' Wast.

It is bordered bi the Daniel Campos Province tae the north, the Republic o Chile tae the wast, the Enrique Baldivieso Province an Sur Lípez Province tae the sooth, Sud Chichas Province tae the east, an the Antonio Quijarro Province tae the northeast.

The province extends ower 270 km frae east tae wast an 210 km frae north tae sooth.

The province comprises twa municipalities which are further subdividit intae cantons.

The population increased frae 8,320 (1992 census) tae 10,460 inhabitants (2001 census), an increase o 25,7 %.

96 % o the population hae nae access tae electricity, 93 % hae nae sanitary facilities. 61 % o the population are employed in agricultur, 9 % in minin, 2 % in industry, 28 % in general services. 90 % o the population are Catholics, 6 % are Protestants.

The fowk are predominantly indigenous citizens o Quechuan descent. [2]
