Niʻihau or Niihau (/ˈnh/; Hawaiian: [ˈniʔiˈhɐw]) is the wastrenmaist an seivent lairgest o the inhabitit Hawaiian Islands in the U.S. state o Hawaiʻi, lyin 17.5 miles (15.2 nmi; 28.2 km) soothwast o Kauaʻi athort the Kaulakahi Channel an havin an aurie o 69.5 square miles (180 km2).[3]
