Maximilian I, Elector o Bavarie (17 Aprile 1573 – 27 September 1651), occasionally cried "the Great", a member o the Hoose o Wittelsbach, ruled aa Duke o Bavarie frae 1597. His reign was marked bi the Thirty Years' War during which he obtained the teetle o a Prince-elector o the Haly Roman Empire at the 1623 Diet o Regensburg.
