Makoto Kobayashi (小林 誠, Kobayashi Makoto) (born Aprile 7, 1944 in Nagoya, Japan) is a Japanese pheesicist kent for his wirk on CP-violation who wis awairdit ane third o the 2008 Nobel Prize in Pheesics "for the discovery o the origin o the broken symmetry which predicts the existence o at least three families o quarks in naitur."[3]
