Margaret Ruth "Maggie" Gyllenhaal[1][2][3] (/ˈdʒɪlənhɑːl/;[4] born November 16, 1977)[5] is an American actress. Pairt o the Gyllenhaal family, she is the dochter o filmmakkers Stephen Gyllenhaal an Naomi Achs, an the aulder sister o actor Jake Gyllenhaal.
