Louis de Bourbon, Coont o Vermandois (2 October 1667 – 18 November 1683) wis the anly surviving illegitimate son o Keeng Louis XIV an his mistress Louise de La Vallière. He wis creatit the Coont o Vermandois bi his faither who later made him Admiral o Fraunce in 1669, a title that wad pass tae his hauf-brither the Coont o Toulouse. In 1674, his mither entered a convent in Paris, then he lived at the Palais Royal in Paris, wi his uncle Philippe o Fraunce, Duke o Orléans, Monsieur an his seicont wife Elisabeth Charlotte o the Palatinate, Madame.
