Louis Victor o Savoy, Prince o Carignano (25 September 1721 – 16 December 1778) wis a member o the Hoose o Savoy an headed a cadet branch o the Italian dynasty which haed the teetle Prince o Carignano. Upon extinction o the senior line o the Savoys, his great-grandson succeeded to the ryal throne as King Charles Albert o Sardinie, while his great-great-grandson, Victor Emmanuel II, became Keeng o Italy. Louis Victor's mither wis Maria Vittoria o Savoy, an illegitimate dochter o Victor Amadeus II o Sardinie an his mistress Jeanne Baptiste d'Albert.
