Leptis Magna (Arabic: لَبْدَةLabdah)[1] forby kent as Lectis Magna (or Lepcis Magna as it is sometimes spelled), cried Lpqy, Neapolis, Lebida or Lebda tae modren-day residents o Libie an aa, wis a prominent ceety o the Roman Empire. Its ruins are locatit in Khoms, Libie, 130 km (81 mi) east o Tripoli, on the coast whaur the Wadi Lebda meets the sea.
