Lakshadweep (/ləkˈʃɑːdwp/, Aboot this soondLakṣadvīp , Lakshadīb), umwhile kent as the Laccadive, Minicoy, an Aminidivi Islands (/ˌlækədv ˌmɪnkɔɪ/ & /ˌæmnˈdvi/),[2] is a group o islands in the Laccadive Sea, 200 tae 440 kilometres (120 tae 270 mi) aff the sooth wastren coast o Indie. The airchipelago is a Union Territory an is govrened bi the Union Govrenment o Indie.
