Ludwik Lejzer Zamenhof (Pols: Ludwik Łazarz Zamenhof, 15 December [A.S. 3 December] 1859 – 14 Aprile [A.S. 1 Aprile] 1917), uisually creditit as L. L. Zamenhof, wis a Pols pheeseecian, inventor, an writer. He is maist widely kent for creatin Esperanto, the maist successfu constructit leid in the warld, as well as Homaranismo, a filosofie based on the teachins o Hillel the Elder.
