Kampong Chhnang (Khmer: ខេត្តកំពង់ឆ្នាំង, IPA: [kɑmpɔːŋ cʰnaːŋ] "Port o Pottery") is a province (khaet) o Cambodie. It borders the provinces o Kampong Thom tae the north, Kampong Cham tae the east, Kandal an Kampong Speu tae the sooth, an Pursat tae the west. Its caipital an lairgest ceety is Kampong Chhnang.

Kampong Chhnang is the 15t lairgest province in Cambodia. Wi a population o 471,616, it ranks as the 13t lairgest in the naition. Kampong Chhnang is ane o the nine provinces that is pairt o the Tonle Sap Biosphere Reserve.[2] The province is famous for its clay pots.

Kampong Chhnang means "Port o Pottery" in Khmer. "Kampong" means port, harbor, or bay. "Chhnang" means pot or pottery. This province heas a rich cultural history.
