Kajaani (Swadish: Kajana) is a toun an municipality in Finland. It is the center an caipital o the Kainuu region. It is locatit southeast o Oulujärvi (Lake Oulu), which drains tae the Gulf o Bothnia alang the Oulujoki (river Oulu).
