In 2007, she rose tae fame efter winnin the saxt saison o American Idol; at age 17, she acame the youngest winner in the series' history. Her self-teetled debut album wis released later in the same year; it wis certified platinum bi the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) an haes sauld ower twa million copies warldwide.[3] The album spawned the US Billboard Hot 100 tap-ten singles "Tattoo" an "No Air"; the latter is currently the third-heichest-sellin single bi ony American Idol contestant, sellin ower three million deegital copies in the Unitit States.[4] The sang earned Sparks her first Grammy Awaird nomination for Best Pop Collaboration wi Vocals.
