John "Patrick" Byrne (born 6 Januar 1940) is a Scots playwricht an airtist. Probably best kent for writin The Slab Boys Trilogy o plays aboot wirkin-cless life in Scotland, he haes been descrived as the first postmodren poet frae Paisley.[1]
