Joanna is a locality in the Australie state o Sooth Australie locatit in the state's sooth-east athin the state’s Limestone Coast region aboot 325 kilometre (202 mi)* sooth east o the state caipital o Adelaide, aboot 19.5 kilometre (12.1 mi)* sooth-east o the municipal seat o Naracoorte.[2][3]
Joanna stairtit as a private subdiveesion. Boondars wur creatit in Apryle 2001 for the “lang established name” whik is derivit frae the cadastral unit o the Hundred of Joanna whik wis namit in 1862 efter the dochter o Dominick Daly, the then Govrenor o Sooth Australie.[2][8][9]
The majority laund uise athin the locality is primar production. The locality includes laund proclaimit for conservation purposes as the Naracoorte Caves National Park.[2][10]
Joanna shares a single CFS brigade with the neighbouring locality o Wrattonbully.
Joanna is locatit athin the federal Division of Barker, the state electoral district of MacKillop, an the local govrenment area o the Naracoorte Lucindale Council.[2][4][5]
