The Hanbali schuil (Arabic: المذهب الحنبلي‎) is ane o the fower orthodox Sunni Islamic schuils o jurisprudence (fiqh).[1] It is named efter the Iraqi scholar Ahmad ibn Hanbal (d. 855), an was institutionalised bi his students. The Hanbali madhhab is the smawest o fower major Sunni schuils, the ithers bein the Hanafi, Maliki an Shafi'i.[2][3]
