Hajibala Ibrahim oglu Abutalybov (Azerbaijani: Hacıbala İbrahim oğlu Abutalıbov, born 13 Mey 1944) is an Azerbaijani politeecian an the current Mayor o Baku, the caipital o Azerbaijan.
Abutalybov wis born in Krasnovodsk, Turkmenistan. He graduatit frae Azerbaijan State University wi a degree in Pheesics in 1965. In 1969, he wis enrolled in post graduate program at Ioffe Physical-Technical Institute o the Roushie Academy o Sciences in Saunt Petersburg, Roushie. In 1976, he receivit his PhD an defendit his doctoral desertation in 1987.[1]
Abutalybov servit as the heid o the laboratory at Pheesics Depairtment o Azerbaijan Naitional Academy o Sciences in 1995. In the same year, he wis appointit the Heid o the Executive Pouer o the Surakhani destrict o Baku which he held till 1999.[2] In 2000, he wis appointit Deputy Premier o Azerbaijan.
Abutalybov serves as Mayor o Baku syne 30 Januar 2001.[3] He is marriet an haes twa sons.
