In mathematics, the greatest common divisor (gcd), an aa kent as the greatest common factor (gcf), heichest common factor (hcf), or greatest common measur (gcm), o twa or mair integers (at least ane o which is nae zero), is the lairgest positive integer that divides the nummers wioot a remainder. For example, the GCD o 8 an 12 is 4.[1][2]
