Giovan Carlo de' Medici (24 Julie 1611 – 22 Januar 1663) wis an Italian cardinal o the Hoose o Medici. He wis the second son o Grand Duke Cosimo II o Tuscany an his wife, Maria Maddalena o Austrick, an the brither o Ferdinando II de' Medici, Grand Duke o Tuscany. He wis creatit a cardinal bi Pape Innocent X in November 1644. He is also cried Giancarlo or Gian Carlo. He niver mairit an haed nae kent childer.
He acted as an advisor tae Christina, Queen o Swaden but wis sent back tae Roum bi the pape who said he wis "too handsome an too young" tae be "spiritual advisor" tae the Queen. Four years after the daith o Giovan Carlo, his younger brither Prince Leopoldo wis creatit a cardinal. Part o his art collection can be seen at the Palazzo Pitti.
