Gerardus (Gerard) 't Hooft (Dutch: [ˌɣeːrɑrt ət ˈɦoːft]; born Julie 5, 1946) is a Dutch theoretical pheesicist an professor at Utrecht Varsity, the Netherlands. He shared the 1999 Nobel Prize in Pheesics wi his thesis advisor Martinus J. G. Veltman "for elucidatin the quantum structur o electroweak interactions".
