The Gengshi Emperor (Cheenese: 更始帝; pinyin: Gēngshǐ Dì; Wade–Giles: Keng-shih-ti; dee'd AD 25), wis an emperor o the Han Dynasty restored efter the faw o Wang Mang's Xin Dynasty.[1][2][3] He wis an aw kent bi his coortesy name Shenggong (simplifeed Cheenese: 圣公; traditeeonal Cheenese: 聖公) an as the Keeng or Prince o Huaiyang (simplifeed Cheenese: 淮阳王; traditeeonal Cheenese: 淮陽王; pinyin: Huáiyáng Wáng), a posthumous teetle bestowed upon him bi Emperor Guangwu o the Eastren Han.
