FPrince Franz Ernst o Hesse-Darmstadt (25 Januar 1695 8 Januar 1716[1]) wis a German nobleman as a member o a cadet branch o the Hoose o Hesse. He replaced his brither Charles William o Hesse-Darmstadt as Colonel o the Hesse-Darmstadt Kreis Regiment when Karl Wilhelm died during the War o the Spaingie Succession.
