The revenge o the fowerty-seiven rōnin (四十七士 Shi-jū-shichi-shi, fowerty-seven samurai), an aw kent as the Akō incident (赤穂事件 Akō jiken) or Akō vendetta, is an 18t-century historical event in Japan in that a baund o rōnin (leaderless samurai) avenged the daith o thair maister. The incident haes syne acome leegendar.[1]
