Im Vordergrund der Oberwald genannte östliche Teil des Frankfurter Stadtwaldes (südmainische Stadtteile Sachsenhausen, Oberrad), am Horizont der Mittelgebirgs-Höhenzug Taunus. Die beiden Hochhäuser Westhafen Tower (ganz links) und Main Plaza (am rechten Bildrand) markieren den Verlauf des Flusses Main durch die Stadt.
English: The skyline of Frankfurt-am-Main, Germany, viewed from south, from the tower Goetheturm (destroyed in 2017). In the foreground a part of the city’s municipal forest, Frankfurter Stadtwald. In the background some of the regional hills of Hesse, the Taunus.
