Eudoxus of Cnidus (Greek: Εὔδοξος ὁ Κνίδιος, Eúdoxos ho Knídios; c. 390– c. 337 BC) wis a Greek astronomer, mathematician, scholar an student o Plato. Aw o his works are lost, tho some fragments are preserved in Hipparchus' commentar on Aratus's poem on astronomy.[1] Theodosius o Bithynia's important wirk, Sphaerics, mey be based on a wirk o Eudoxus.
