A sphere, the maist perfect spatial shape accordin tae Pythagoreans, an aa is an important concept in modren unnerstandin o Euclidean spaces

In mathematics, pairticularly in geometry, the concept o a Euclidean space encompasses Euclidean plane an the three-dimensional space o Euclidean geometry as spaces o dimensions 2 an 3 respectively. It is named efter the Auncient Greek mathematician Euclid o Alexandria.[1] The term “Euclidean” distinguishes these spaces frae ither types o spaces considered in modren geometry. Euclidean spaces an aa generalizes these ideas tae heicher dimensions.
