Erik Thorvaldsson (Auld Norse: Eiríkr Þorvaldsson; 950 – c. 1003), kent as Erik the Reid (Auld Norse: Eiríkr hinn rauði)[1] wis a Norse Viking, remembered in medieval an Icelandic saga soorces as haein foondit the first Norse dounset in Greenland.
