Emmanuel Philibert o Savoy, Prince o Carignano Emmanuel Philibert of Savoy (20 August 1628 – 23 Aprile 1709), Prince o Carignano, wis the son an hier o Thomas Francis o Savoy, Prince o Carignano. He constructed the Palazzo Carignano as his own personal residence in Turin. He died bankrupt in Paris an wis buried at the Ryal Basilica o Superga.

On 10 November 1684 in the Castle o Racconigi, Emmanuel Philibert mairit Maria Angela Caterina d'Este, the beautiful dochter o General Borso d'Este o Modena. She wis a cousin o Alfonso III d'Este, Duke o Modena.
