Elba (Italian: isola d'Elba, pronounced [ˈiːzola ˈdelba]; Laitin: Ilva; Auncient Greek: Αἰθαλία, Aithalia) is a Mediterranean island in Tuscany, Italy, 20 kilometres (12 mi) frae the coastal town o Piombino. The lairgest island o the Tuscan Archipelago, Elba is an aa pairt o the Arcipelago Toscano Naitional Pairk,[1] an the third lairgest island in Italy, efter Sicily an Sardinie. It is locatit in the Tyrrhenian Sea, aboot 50 kilometres (30 mi) east o the French island o Corsica.
