E nummers are codes for substances which can be uised as fuid additives for uise within the European Union an Swisserland (the "E" staunds for "Europe"). Thay are commonly foond on fuid labels throughoot the European Union. Safety assessment an approval are the responsibility o the European Fuid Safety Authority.
