In botany, a drupe (or stane fruit) is an indehiscent fruit in which an ooter fleshy pairt (exocarp, or skin; an mesocarp, or flesh) surroonds a shell (the pit, stane, or pyrene) o haurdened endocarp wi a seed (kernel) inside.[1]
