Dorothea Sophie o Neuburg (Dorothea Sophie; 5 Julie 1670 – 15 September 1748) was Duchess of Parma frae 1695 tae 1727.
She wis regent o the duchy o Parma frae 1731 tae 1735 for her grandson Infante Carlos o Spain (later Duke o Parma). She wis also a sister o Haly Roman Empress Eleonore Magdalene (wife o Leopold I, Holy Roman Emperor) as well as Queen Maria Sophie o Portugal as well as the last wife o Charles II o Spain Maria Anna o Neuburg. Infanta Maria Doroteia o Portugal wis named in her honour.

On 17 September 1690, she mairit Odoardo Farnese, Hereditary Prince o Parma, heir to the throne of the Duchy o Parma an Piacenza. In their three years of mairiage, they haed twa childer, a son who died in infancy and a daughter, Elisabeth.
Second mairiage[eedit | eedit soorce]
Her husband died on 6 September 1693, only a month after the death of their son. On 7 December 1696, Dorothea mairit Odoardo's half-brither, Francesco Farnese, who haed become Duke o Parma when his faither died in 1694.
