Throughout his career, he haes won 14 major ranking titles, includin three UK Championships i 2005, 2009, an 2019; twa Shanghai Masters titles i 2013 and 2016; an one German Masters title in 2014. He haes an aw twice reached the feenal o the Masters, winnin ance in 2011. Representin Cheena at the Asian Games, Ding haes won five gowd medals i individual an team events. In 2016, he became the first Asian player tae reach the feenal o the Warld Championship. The same year, he won his first Six-red World Championship.
