Daith and state funeral o Ronald Reagan
On 5 Juin, 2004, Ronald Reagan, the 40th Preses o the Unitit States, died after having suffered frae Alzheimer's disease for almost 10 years. A seven-day state funeral for Reagan was held shortly after his death.
His casket wis displayed at the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library in Simi Valley, Californie, then flown to Washington, D.C. on June 9 for a service, public viewing and tributes at the U.S. Capitol.
The state funeral was executed by the Military District of Washington (MDW) and was the first since the funeral of Lyndon B. Johnson in 1973. Richard Nixon, who lead over Johnson's funeral, declined to have a state funeral in 1994.
His funeral was held on 11 Juin, 2004. He wis buried at the Reagan Presidential Library.
