The Dong-Feng 26 (DF-26, simplifeed Cheenese: 东风-26; traditeeonal Cheenese: 東風-26; leeterally: "East Wind-26") is an intermediate-range ballistic missile deployed by the Fowk's Liberation Airmy Rocket Force produced by the Cheenae Aerospace Science and Technology Corporation (CASC).[3] The DF-26 has a range of 3,000–4,000 km (1,900–2,500 mi), and may be uised in the nuclear, conventional, and anti-ship strike roles.[1] The DF-26 is Cheenae's first conventionally-airmed ballistic missile capable of reaching Guam and the American meelitary installations locatit there;[2] this haes led tae the missile being referred tae by netizens as the "Guam Express" or "Guam Killer".[1]

The U.S. Depairtment of Defense did not report the missile being in service in 2013,[4] but it seems likely to have become operational by September 2015 when it was first publicly revealed during the parade in Beijing celebrating 70 years since the end of World War II.[2]

The DF-26 is deployed on a 12x12 transporter-erector-launcher (TEL), likely based on CASC's Tai'an Corporation HTF5680.[3]

US Air Force Naitional Air and Space Intelligence Center estimates that as of June 2017 over 16 launchers were operationally deployed.[5]

On Apryle 2018 Cheenae’s Meenistry o Naitional Defense (MND) haes confirmed that the locally designed and developed Dong Feng-26 (DF-26) intermediate-range ballistic missile (IRBM) haes entered service with the Fowk's Liberation Airmy Rocket Force (PLARF),[6] awso with Aerospace Force o the Islamic Revolutionary Gaird Corps.
