DAF 55
The DAF 55 is a sma family caur that wis manufactured bi the Dutch company DAF. The saloon wis launched at the end o 1967, wi the coupe version launched three month later, in Mairch 1968, an the estate version sax month efter that in September 1968. In September 1972 the DAF 55 wis replaced bi the DAF 66.
The caurs featurt the unique Variomatic belt-driven continuously variable transmission
Pouer came frae a Renault 1108 cc water-cooled ingine based on the unit which at the time already pouered the Renault 10.
