Cyrus II o Persie (Auld Persie: KUURUUSHA[4] Kūruš; New Persie: کوروش بُزُرگ Kurosh-e Bozorg  ; c. 600 or 576 – 530 BC[5]), commonly kent as Cyrus the Great[6] an an aa kent as Cyrus the Elder, wis the foonder o the Achaemenid Empire.[7]
