Clan Hunter (Gaelic: "Clann an t-Sealgair") is a Scots clan which haes its seat at Hunterston in Ayrshire. It haes historical connections wi baith the 'Hielands' an 'Lawlands' o Scotland due tae several centuries o operation in some o the formerly Gaelic speakin Scots Islands includin Arran, Bute an the Cumbraes whaur the Hunters an aa lang held land. The present Chief is Madam Pauline Hunter o Hunterson.
