Charles de Bourbon, Coont o Soissons (3 November 1566 – 1 November 1612) was a French prince du sang an commander during the struggles over religion and the throne in late 16th century France. A first cousin of Keeng Henry IV o Fraunce, he wis a son o the Huguenot leader Louis de Bourbon, Prince o Condé an his second wife, Françoise d'Orléans. He gave his name tae the Hôtel de Soissons after his title Coont o Soissons (comte de Soissons) He also served as ieutenant General o New Fraunce (1611-1612) He wis the founder o the Soissons branch o the Hoose o Bourbon. Throyugh his dochter Marie, he wis a descendant o the Princesse de Lamballe.
