Gunn, son o the factor o the Cromartie Estates ootside the toun.[3] Gunn alsae representit the club at the inaugural AGM o the Camanachd Association.
I the airly 1920's the club became a Junior Side fae twa years due tae the lack o experienced players efter the Great War, owiver in 1926 the club defeatit Beauly i the MacGillivray Cup Final an began a glory run which lastit ontil Warld War Twa.[4] The club won the Camanachd Cup i 1934 an 1939 an lost i the final tae Kyles Athletic i 1935. They alsea won the MacGillivray League ten years runnin, as weil as appearin in 8 MacTavish Cup finals, winnin 4 o them. Aroond this time, ane newspaper uisit the heidline: "Nae Ither Warlds Left Tae Conquer".[3]
Efter the war, the club wis still slichtly successfu, owiver it niver reachit the intra-war heights again. Owiver in the 1990's Caberfeidh went oan tae win 5 Balliemore Cups on the bounce.

Modern times (2008-present)
[eedit | edit soorce]In 2008, the club finished bootom o North Division Ane but werena relegatit due tae The Fort Seconds nae bein eligible fae promotion tae Division Ane, this rule wis abolished the next season. In 2009, the club made muckle improvements an were at ane point makkin a push fae promtion. Owiver they finished fifth at the end o the season.
The club renovated their groond aroond this time, openin a new clubhoose in 2010. In 2011, Caerfeidh lost i the Ballkiemore Cup Final 2-0 tae Bute in Portree. Their groond at Castle Leod hostit the 2012 Balliemore final atween Beauly an Lochaber.
Caberfeidh is the anely shinty club in Scotland tae share its groonds wi a cricket club, Ross County C.C.[5] The club is a distinct but fraternal organisation frae the Ross-shire Camanachd Association, which awways haulds its youth Six-A-Sides at Castle Leod.[6]
