Bulgan (Mongolie: Булган) is ane o the 21 aimags (provinces) o Mongolie, locatit in northren Mongolie. Its capital is namit Bulgan an aw.

Geography

The north o the aimag is characterized bi alpine forests, gradually blendin in the arid steppe plains o the central Mongolian heichland. The main rivers are the Orkhon an the Selenge, baith o which enter the aimag frae Övörkhangai. As a result, soothren Bulgan is ane o Mongolie's few arable regions.
