Brae (Auld Norse: Breiðeið, meanin "the wide isthmus") is a settlement on the mainland o the Shetland Islands in Scotland. Tradeetionally a fishin veelage, wi the construction o the nearby Sullom Voe Oil Terminal in the 1970s Brae grew rapidly, mergin wi the nearby veelage o Northbrae.
