A marina is locatit in the port o Batabano (Surgidero de Batabanó). Nouadays is the main port for the communication tae Isla de la Juventud an Cayo Largo del Sur wi ferryboat an passenger regular services, as well as, an important fishin port.

The municipality is dividit intae the barrios o Pueblo de Batabanó, Surgidero, Camacho, Pozo Redondo, La Julia an Sopapo.[1]
