Muhammad Anwar El Sadat (Arabic: محمد أنور الساداتMuḥammad Anwar as-Sādāt  Egyptian Arabic pronunciation: [mæˈħæmmæd ˈʔɑnwɑɾ essæˈdæːt]; 25 December 1918 – 6 October 1981) wis the third Preses o Egyp, servin frae 15 October 1970 till his assassination bi fundamentalist airmy officers on 6 October 1981.
