Angel Faws (Spaingie: Salto Ángel; Pemon leid: Kerepakupai Vená, meanin "watterfaw o the deepest place", or Parakupá Vená, meanin "the faw frae the heichest pynt") is a watterfaw in Venezuela. It is the warld's heichest uninterruptit watterfaw, wi a hicht o 979 m (3,212 ft) an a plunge o 807 m (2,648 ft). The watterfaw drops ower the edge o the Auyantepui muntain in the Canaima Naitional Pairk (Spainyie: Parque Nacional Canaima), a UNESCO Warld Heritage steid in the Gran Sabana region o Bolívar State. The hicht figur 979 m (3,212 ft) maistly consists o the main plunge but an aa includes aboot 400 m (0.25 mi) o sloped cascades an rapids ablo the drop an a 30-metre (98 ft) heich plunge dounstream o the talus rapids.
The faws are on the Gauja River (alternatively kent as the Kerep River or Kerepacupai), which flows intae the Churun River, a tributary o the Carrao River.
