Alexei Petrovich, Tsarevich o Roushie (28 Februar 1690 – 7 Julie 1718) was a Russian Tsarevich. He wis born in Moscow, the son o Tsar Peter I an his first wife, Eudoxia Lopukhina. Alexei despised his faither an repeatedly thwarted Peter's plans tae raise him as successor tae the throne.[1] His brief defection tae Austrick scandalised the Roushie government, leading tae harsh repressions against Alexei an his associates. Alexei deed after interrogation under torture, and his son Peter Alexeyevich became the new heir apparent. He wis a brither o the future Elizabeth o Roushie.

On 25 October 1711 at Torgau, he mairit Princess Charlotte Christine o Brunswick-Wolfenbüttel, a sister o Elisabeth Christine o Brunswick-Wolfenbüttel, wife o Charles VI, Haly Roman Emperor, makin her an aunt o the future Empress Maria Theresa.
