Alexander Scott (?1520 − 1582/3) wis a Scots makar. It is jaloused that he bid maist o his time in Embra or near tae it. Thirty-sax poems haes his name on thaim, sic as Ane New Yeir Gift to Quene Mary, The Rondel of Love, but his maist weel kent poem is To Luve Unluvit.[1][2]
