Øresund, mair commonly kent in Scots as the Soond (Dens: Øresund, pronoonced [ˈøːɐsɔnˀ]; Swadish: Öresund, pronoonced [œrəˈsɵnːd]) an locally in baith kintras even kent as juist Sundet,[1] is the strait that separates the Dens island Zealand frae the soothren Swadis province o Scania.
