Vedum is a locality situatit in Vara Municipality, Västra Götaland Coonty, Swaden wi 926 inhabitants in 2010.[1]
The company Vedum Kök och Bad AB,[2] a manufacturer o kitchen an bathroom appliances, is locatit in Vedum.
The locality grew up aroond a station on the railwey line Herrljunga - Uddevalla, which wis opened in 1866. The oreeginally narrae gauge railwey wis rebuilt tae staundart gauge in 1899-1900 an trains still caw at Vedum. The station biggin played a important pairt in the film comedy "Stinsen brinner" (The Station Master is on Fire) frae 1991.[3]
